He says, “My journey with Gramonnati has made me acquire knowledge, which I would have never gained otherwise”.

He has been given the opportunity to learn various hardware and software tools and putting the theoretical knowledge acquired during graduation to practical use. He is teaching children various aspects of computer hardware and software as he also conducts the digital literacy courses as per the curriculum. He confesses, he has matured and grown to respect things in life he had taken for granted. Although the journey with Gramonnati has just begun, he feels he has been there for a long time in terms of the all-round grooming he has received in becoming a better human being.

Future Plans with Gramonnati

Deepak has been selected to assist in setting up the Gramonnati Kendras in Rajouri and Poonch (Jammu & Kashmir). He strongly relates to the mission of Gramonnati, that the immigration of villagers to towns must be reduced. People must be made aware of the huge gap in the demand and supply of jobs in the rural and semi-urban areas. He is convinced that the youth in his area should not leave their homes to earn a living. He plans to open a Gramonnati Kendra in a suitable place in Madhya Pradesh or Jharkhand and eventually set up a small-scale industry to help people. Through this, he wishes to become a living example of Gramonnati’s core idea to “Be-a-job-creator and not a job-seeker”.
